In Ebsdorfer Grund - just under a 30-minute drive from Giessen - lies Rauischholzhausen Castle, probably the most beautiful estate at JLU. Congresses, workshops, seminars and also festivals are held here on a regular basis. The estate, built at the end of the 19th century, looks like a fairy-tale castle, nestled in a spacious park in the style of English landscape gardens.
